upper east side Duplex

Located in a landmarked building in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, this duplex was formed by combining the clients’ existing home with the unit above. With this expansion, the clients wished for a family-focused home with dedicated spaces for themselves and their two daughters in order to fill the functional voids of the existing apartment, whose design centered on formal entertaining; the goal was to craft new spaces that integrated with existing areas while allowing for the clients’ personalities to shine through.
