Kalina Kath

Kalina Kath, AIA

While studying abroad in Florence, Italy and attending graduate school in New York City, Kalina discovered a love for urban living and the inherent minimalism that comes with it. She appreciates and finds simple, beautiful spaces everywhere, whether in a building, city fabric, or forest. Kalina believes there are many unnecessary distractions in life and aims to create spaces which focus us on the things that we find most important.

Kalina currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter in a 100-year-old rowhouse. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University's GSAPP, where she achieved an award for Design Excellence. Jennifer Asllani

Jennifer Asllani

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Jennifer received her BS and MArch from Kent State University and is LEED certified. A full year of study in Florence, Italy, provided her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe. This travel and exposure to plazas and piazzas alike ignited in her a passion for spaces for communal gathering. Before joining the Wettling team, Jen returned to Florence to work at a small Italian firm. She is thrilled by the opportunity to be in New York where she can practice high-quality design and be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work.

Ben Massey

Before moving to New York and joining the Wettling team, Ben worked as an architect in New Orleans, Louisiana and Savannah, Georgia, designing inimitable spaces for myriad clients.

Rostyslav (Ros) Pechenyy

Rostyslav (Ros) Pechenyy

Rostyslav Pechenyy is a registered architect in New York with a B. Arch from City College of New York (Macaulay Honors College). He moved to Brooklyn from Ukraine as a teenager and has called it home ever since. Over the years, he has cultivated an appreciation for the city’s vibrant spaces, particularly its rich architectural and urban history. That led him to City College, where he was part of a team that designed and built a zero-energy rooftop house for Solar Decathlon. This experience has instilled in him the importance of exploration through detail and understanding how to put together buildings.

Ros' desire to expand his architectural knowledge took him around the world, including a study abroad experience in the historic castle of Fontainebleau, France. In his career, he has garnered extensive knowledge working on significant residential developments. He now enjoys expanding his work on more intimate spaces and details. New York City continues to surprise and delight him and constantly reinforces his passion for architecture.
