Jack Wettling, AIA
Jack received his Architectural degree from University of Texas at Austin. Jack achieved his LEED Accredited Certification in 2009. He has worked with Charles Tapley Associates, Steven Leach & Associates, and as Director of East Coast Operations for Baker Harris, CPC. Early work was large in scale, and included a range of corporate projects from JP Morgan to the United Nations. Upon founding Wettling Architects, Jack directed his focus toward projects of a more intimate scale and scope. The firm's focus shifted toward the private, whether for residential or small to mid-sized commercial. Wettling Architects strives to encourage the special relationships that can arise between individuals and the spaces that they occupy.
Kalina Kath, AIA
After studying abroad in Florence, Italy and attending graduate school in New York City, Kalina discovered a love for urban living and the inherent minimalism that comes with it. She appreciates and finds simple, beautiful spaces everywhere, whether in a building, city fabric, or a forest. Kalina believes there are many unnecessary distractions in life and strives to create space which is quiet from these distractions and focuses us on the things that we find most important.
Kalina currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter in a 100 year old rowhouse. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University's GSAPP where she achieved an award for Design Excellence. She has been practicing architecture for over 10 years and is a licensed architect in the States of New York and Ohio.
Hannah Robertson, AIA LEED BD+C
Hannah is a licensed architect in NY State with over 10 years experience in commercial, corporate and residential design. She attended Bowdoin College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Spanish. Having grown up in Iowa, Hannah was awestruck by the beauty of the Northeastern coastline, and has enjoyed living in Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. She moved to NYC to attend Columbia GSAPP, earned her MArch in 2007, and has been happily designing everything from parking garages to appliance garages since. She is passionate about creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and responsive to the unique needs of each client.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Jennifer received her BS and MArch from Kent State University and is LEED certified. A full year of study in Florence, Italy, afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, which gave her a passion for public space, both interior and exterior. Before joining the Wettling team, Jen returned to Florence to work at a small Italian firm. She is thrilled by the opportunity to be in New York where she can practice quality design and be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work.
Our associate Mitch, affectionately known around the office as M, recently completed his Bachelor of Architecture at The City College of New York, graduating magna cum laude. A semester of study in Barcelona, Spain and European travels opened his eyes to the beauty of timeless design and architecture. He is in love with New York City where he says he can still be caught looking up "all too often" at buildings and skylines. He has a passion for simplicity and elegance in design, and we're happy to have him on board.
Following her interests in culture and the visual arts, Isra graduated with a Bachelor's in art and art history from DePaul University in Chicago. After working at several art galleries, she shifted her focus to events and marketing, a path that afforded her greater opportunities for travel. In 2014 she moved to Brooklyn with a desire to marry her interests in the creative arts, design, and marketing, which led her to Wettling Architects where she manages office and marketing needs, and helps support the firm’s architects and clients.
