Jack Wettling, AIA

Jack received his Architectural degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is LEED certified and a licensed architect in New York, Connecticut, Texas, and Florida.

Prior to founding Wettling Architects in 1993, Jack worked with Charles Tapley Associates, Steven Leach & Associates, and as Director of East Coast Operations for Baker Harris, CPC. Early work was large in scale and included a range of corporate projects, from JP Morgan Chase to the United Nations.

Upon starting his own firm, Jack directed his focus toward projects of a more intimate scale and scope. He enjoys the personal nature of residential design and is energized by the prospect of cultivating long-lasting relationships with his clients.

While studying abroad in Florence, Italy and attending graduate school in New York City, Kalina discovered a love for urban living and the inherent minimalism that comes with it. She appreciates and finds simple, beautiful spaces everywhere, whether in a building, city fabric, or forest. Kalina believes there are many unnecessary distractions in life and aims to create spaces which focus us on the things that we find most important.

Kalina currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter in a 100-year-old rowhouse. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University's GSAPP, where she achieved an award for Design Excellence.
