Jack Wettling, AIA received his Architectural degree from University of Texas at Austin. Jack achieved his LEED Accredited Certification in 2009. He has worked with Charles Tapley Associates, Steven Leach & Associates, and as Director of East Coast Operations for Baker Harris, CPC. Early work was large in scale, and included a range of corporate projects from JP Morgan to the United Nations. Upon founding Wettling Architects, Jack directed his focus toward projects of a more intimate scale and scope. The firm's focus shifted toward the private, whether for residential or small to mid-sized commercial. Wettling Architects strives to encourage the special relationships that can arise between individuals and the spaces that they occupy.
KALINA KATH, AIA
After completing her studies with Kent State University in Ohio and Florence, Italy, Kalina Kath moved to New York City to further her architectural education at Columbia University's GSAPP. During her time at Columbia, she helped the faculty publish two books, earned an award in design excellence and, most importantly, fell in love with the city. Since then, Kalina has been practicing architecture in and around New York and has experimented in jewelry design, furniture design, and website design, as well as music recording. She is a registered architect in the state of New York, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Hannah Robertson, AIA
Hannah Robertson is a licensed architect in NY State and a member of the AIA. She attended Bowdoin College, earning a bachelors in art history. Having grown up in Iowa, Hannah was awestruck by the beauty of the coastline, and has slowly worked her way south spending time in Boston, Martha's Vineyard, and Rhode Island. She moved to New York City to study architecture at Columbia GSAPP, earning her masters in 2007. After getting her start in residential design, Hannah spent eight years at NBBJ designing commercial and corporate workplaces all over the US, China, and southeast Asia. She is excited to return home to residential design and help our clients realize their design goals.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Jennifer Asllani received her BS and MArch from Kent State University and is LEED certified. A full year of study in Florence, Italy, afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, which gave her a passion for public space, both interior and exterior. Before joining the Wettling team, Jen returned to Florence to work at a small Italian firm. She is thrilled by the opportunity to be in New York where she can practice quality design and be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work.
Our associate Mitch, affectionately known around the office as M, recently completed his Bachelor of Architecture at The City College of New York, graduating magna cum laude. A semester of study in Barcelona, Spain and European travels opened his eyes to the beauty of timeless design and architecture. He is in love with New York City where he says he can still be caught looking up "all too often" at buildings and skylines. He has a passion for simplicity and elegance in design, and we're happy to have him on board.
